Maria discovered occupational therapy when she was caring for a pediatric client as a home care aide. She loves helping children reach maximum independence in their daily life. Her favorite part about working with families is helping them find their own confidence to support their child’s development.
Virginia worked in adult physical rehabilitation for eight years and then got a golden opportunity to practice in pediatrics at Joya Child & Family Development. Virginia feels fortunate to help children learn to be more independent and confident with self-care, motor and sensory processing skills…
