This is our moment.

At Joya, we know we can change entire lives with the impact we can make in the first three years. Now, we’re ready to seize another life-changing opportunity. With a brand-new home designed to double our capacity and unleash the full potential of our mission, we will transform what is possible for children and families in Spokane County for years to come. Joya broke ground on our new facility in spring 2021. Check out our progress here!

Our New Home

This new facility is our opportunity to achieve remarkable growth.

As we anticipate the expiration of our current lease, the timing couldn’t be better for us to have found a permanent home for Joya. Located on a beautiful property on the banks of the Spokane River in the heart of the bustling University District, this new building will be designed for maximum collaboration and holistic care, and will be a welcoming, joyful, connective space for our children and families.

Why the University District?

Located near two prominent medical schools, this site gives Joya the opportunity to collaborate with even more therapists, researchers, teachers, clinicians, and social workers who deliver the most comprehensive care for our children and families. And, we’ll have more opportunities to train students who study in Spokane’s University District to be the early intervention leaders of tomorrow.

We can't do it without your support.

We know there are more families who need us in their corner. Since 2014, the number of children in Spokane County who qualify for birth to three services has increased by 73 percent. Currently, Joya is only able to serve about 15 percent of children eligible for our services.
