Alicia Green, DPT
At Joya since 2006
Practicing Doctor of Physical Therapist since 2006
Alicia grew up in a small town in Eastern Oregon. It was in the 5th grade that she decided she was going to work in the health industry. Her youngest brother had surgery at the Doernbecher Hospital in Portland, Oregon, and that lead to her interest in working in a non-profit. Alicia stayed in her home town and completed a B.S. in Physical Education with an Emphasis in Athletic Training. She then went to Northern Arizona for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During volunteer hours to get into school, Alicia thought PT was a little boring. Then she watched a documentary on a child with Spina Bifida who was working with a PT to learn to ride a bike and she thought, “That! That is what I want to do!” An internship at Shriner’s Children’s Hospital brought her to Spokane. Alicia is married to Jason and they have one son, Parker. They enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, and vacationing.
