Biography

Lindsay grew up in Spokane and is the daughter of a long-time NICU nurse at Sacred Heart Medical Center. She spent high school enjoying dance company and movement studies. At Washington State University, she began her search to make the world a better place. After marrying her love, she became mother to a beautiful baby with vein of Galen malformation. He battled weeks of critical illness and multi-organ failure with much uncertainty, through several brain surgeries at OHSU, Portland. His battle left him with cerebral palsy, vision impairment and global developmental delays.

He fought back and became a student at Joya Child & Family Development. After her son graduated to the public schools, Lindsay joined the Joya team to support other lovely families like her own and be a liaison for the staff.  Lindsay loves to help other families with disabilities navigate this new world.  After work, she’s happy spending her days with her three children and husband in their home and garden and visiting North Idaho lakes.
