Biography

Christina graduated from nursing school in 2006 and began her career working in Sacred Heart Medical Center’s Postpartum (aka mom/baby) until 2015. She was assistant nurse manager from 2009-2015, before joining Joya Child & Family Development as nurse manager. In June of 2019, Christina was promoted to program director. Christina is passionate about patient education and loves problem solving and leading teams. She enjoys working with community partners to strengthen our program for families and is passionate about care coordination and helping parents navigate complicated systems. She believes it’s critical to empower parents to demand high quality care for kids in health care and education. Christina enjoys going to the lake cabin with her husband, son and daughter and volunteering with her kids’ school. She’s very crafty and is likes to upcycle furniture.
